Delete Your PianEd Account

You can permanently delete your PianEd account and everything stored with it. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open PianEd and make sure you are signed in.

Go to the Profile tab.

Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.

Read the confirmation, then tap Delete permanently.

Your account is removed immediately and you are returned to the sign-in screen.

Option 2 — By email

Email contact.pianed@gmail.com from the address you used to sign up, with the subject Account deletion request.

We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, and email you when it is done.

Deletion runs on our server rather than in the app, and identifies you from your own signed-in session — so nobody can ever delete somebody else's account.

What we cannot delete

Google Play keeps its own record of any purchase you made. We have no access to those records and cannot remove them. They are governed by Google's privacy policy.

Anything stored only on your own device goes when you uninstall the app.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. If you have a PianEd Pro subscription you must cancel it separately in the Google Play Store, or Google will keep billing you. Open the Play Store → tap your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → PianEd → Cancel. Do this before deleting your account, as it is easier while you can still see the subscription.

This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. Your progress cannot be recovered afterwards, even if you create a new account with the same email address. If you only want to stop using PianEd for a while, you can simply sign out instead — your progress will be waiting when you come back.
